Ghada Al-Dabbagh
Professor Al-Dabbagh brings an outstanding combination of academic excellence, entrepreneurial
insight, and corporate leadership to this role. She currently oversees the Omnipreneurship Lab at
Al-Dabbagh Holding Group (ADG). She serves as Professor Emeritus at the Computer Science
Department of the Faculty of Computing and Information Technology at King Abdulaziz
University.
Her technical expertise is rooted in wireless communications, Internet of Things (IoT),
and Artificial Intelligence (AI), honed through two years at Stanford University and five years at the
Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Complementing her scientific background, Professor
Al-Dabbagh also completed two professional programs at MIT Sloan School of Management,
focusing on Innovation & Strategy and Business Management & Development.
A recognised thought leader, Professor Al-Dabbagh served on the Marconi Prize Selection Advisory
Committee, overseeing one of the most prestigious global awards in communications, often
described as the “Nobel Prize” of the industry. She has also been listed since 2021 in the World
Scientist and University Rankings by the AD Scientific Index, reflecting her continued distinction as
a top global scientist.
Beyond academia, Professor Al-Dabbagh has contributed global policy insights to the G20 Think
Tank (T20), with four proposals accepted, published, and implemented by member nations from
2020 to 2022. Her unique blend of deep technical knowledge, policy leadership, and proven
business acumen makes her ideally suited to drive the organisation’s innovation strategy, corporate
transformation, and sustainability initiatives.
